Time - every minute counts

If you ask anyone what they want more of... the answer will often me more time. Heck I would even say that as well! BUT, are you making the most out of your time? Could you get more done each day? If you're organized you will. The best way to get things done is to break them down into manageable tasks.

You’d be surprised at how many things you can do when you break them down. When you’re on hold on the phone…don’t sit and wait… keep busy. Take those moments here and there to complete small tasks. Waiting for your printer to print?? Answer an email. EVERY MINUTE COUNTS!


LESS THAN A MINUTE….JUMP RIGHT IN IT!

ANYTHING around your home…if you see it and notice it, and it takes LESS than a minute… DO IT THEN!!! Don’t wait! These little things add up.

Less than a minute
· Quick Reply to an email
· File papers in your file folder
· Check your messages
· Tidy up your desk
· Shred papers
· DEAL with paper- either file, shred, recycle or put in to do folder

5 minutes
· clean out utensil drawer
· tidy shoes
· hang up coats
· clean your bathroom sink/toilet with wipes
· make a grocery list
· send an email
· Read emails
· Clean out pen drawer
· Clean off your desk

10 minutes
· clean out your drawers
· pay bills on line
· empty trash cans in house
· filing
· phone calls
· update calendar
· make plans for the week
· clean out your email files

GET YOUR TIMERS out from your kitchen….set it for 10 minutes…see what you can get done in that time. IF you’re still motivated…set it again.

Doing these little things throughout the day, will save hours a week, and ultimately give you more productive home or office.

Every minute counts....make the most of your time, and you'll have less to do at the end of the week.
